Pop-Up Party Offers Palette of Artists’ Works, Wares

Artists, authors, artisans and entrepreneurs will provide a showcase at their first Inspire Pop-Up event, a release party for new works, wares and ideas, 5-10 p.m. Oct. 15 at Uncorked, 432 E. Haley St., Santa Barbara.
Wine tasting and food will available for purchase from Uncorked’s menu, but the event is free and open to the public.
Executive coach Patricia Rachel Schwartz will sign the book Experts and Influencers: The Leadership Edition, an anthology in which she contributed a chapter.
Musician, author and event coordinator Penny Little will present Nik Green's CD Now and Ever Shall Be, and display her Little Savage cartoon books. She said she chose the event’s Oct. 15 date because it would have been Little and Green’s 25th wedding anniversary. He passed away three years ago.
Also at the event, Claudia Bratton, artist and former executive director of Santa Barbara’s Summer Solstice Celebration, will present her Miss Tickle Hats. Nicky Shane, Los Angeles artist, actor, comedian and “fastest harmonica player on earth,” according to Guinness World Records, will be on the program as well.
Each presenter will have wares on display, between wine tasting and refreshments, and will give five-minute talks on what inspires them.
